This year is set to be a Happy Halloween for retailers as ghoulish celebrations increase. Retailers forecast to get £330m boost from Halloween as pumpkins, decorations and costumes in demand. Last year Halloween even apparently overtook Valentine's Day as the third biggest retail event as fake blood and pumpkin sales jump 3000% since 2001.
