Proposed espionage laws 'extremely draconian' says rights group
A proposed revamp of the Official Secrets Act could mean leaks of "sensitive information" about the economy would be punished for the first time. The bill also includes proposals to increase jail terms from 2 years to 14 years, and even possessing documents could see charges.
