Company Casebook: Remeo Gelato
On Company Casebook this week (Tues and Thurs at 2, Friday at 10:30) Linda Lewis meets some of the team behind Remeo Gelato, importers of the finest Italian gelato brought weekly to the UK by refrigerated lorry, which has been available via independent retailers and Ocado and is just about to go into Waitrose. We'll be hearing about the secrets of their gelato journey and also finding out how a chance contact with the tennis star Johanna Konta resulted in her becoming their brand ambassador and them filming a video together at the National Tennis Centre where Johanna had to hit frozen balls of gelato fired from a cannon. Amazing what lengths companies will go to catch the attention with something a bit out of the ordinary! So join them in Company Casebook here on Share Radio - (Tuesday and Thursday at 2, Friday at 1030.)

Company Casebook: Fast Future
On Company Casebook this week Linda Lewis is meeting a team of futurists who not only predict the future but also write about it. They're called Fast Future - and they advise governments and organisations about the likely risks and opportunities in an increasingly unpredictable world. Not only that, they've built a thriving publishing business too, where books are turned around in just a few months instead of years, disrupting traditional publishing models. Linda has been meeting the founder Rohit Talwar and some of his team, to find out what they make of Trump and Brexit, plus the coming clash between Man and Machines, courtesy of their author Gerd Leonhard. Be warned - they believe there's a very real prospect of Nigel Farage becoming Prime Minister. And Trump's diktats they say can only get worse. That's Company Casebook this week on Share Afternoon Tuesday at 2pm And on Friday in Share Morning at 1030.

Company Casebook: Peer-to-peer car rental business Turo
Have you ever thought about the speed with which cars depreciate in value and how little they're used for a major asset? If so, you'll immediately see the logic behind the latest sharing economy business model which has just arrived in Britain. It's a peer-to-peer car rental business called Turo - car owners rent out their cars to travellers, with Turo taking a percentage of the proceeds. Their CEO and some of his top team spoke to Share Radio's Linda Lewis on Company Casebook this week, explaining why they've chosen the UK as their first big expansion after North America and more.
