The Chancellor is expected to announce £400m for a new Digital Infrastructure Investment Fund with private investors asked to match the amount. But is this enough? Trump promises to pull out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership – how much of a blow would this be?
US president-elect Donald Trump is promising to pull the US out of the international trade Trans-Pacific Partnership, known as TPP. This promise was released in a video just hours after Japan's prime minister, Shinzo Abe, warned that the TPP would be "meaningless" without US participation. Seijiro Takeshita, Professor of Management and Information at the University of Shizuoka, joined Share Radio Breakfast to give a take from Japan.

Glastonbury may boast the world's best-known outdoor music festival, but one essential thing the Somerset town has been lacking since the spring is a bank branch. But within the last few days it has emerged that the Nationwide Building Society has shown some interest in stepping into the breach. Nationwide Director, Graeme Hughes, told Share Radio's Nigel Cassidy that potential premises are now being lined up and he hopes to open a bank in the New Year. He says the reason the society thinks it can make a success in Glastonbury is the fact that it's using newer technology.

This year's Autumn Statement is the first to be delivered by the new Chancellor of the Exchequer, but will he make an impact as the economy is at a critical juncture? Edgar van der Meer explains why ministers are to investigate energy firms profit claims
Energy suppliers are allegedly making larger profits than they admit. The Sun Newspaper claimed they could be making a 24% profit margin, almost six times higher than figures provided by regulator Ofgem. The newspaper based its claims on a PwC report commissioned by Energy UK. Energy UK rejects the claims saying they were "a misrepresentation of facts". But now Business Secretary Greg Clark has started an investigation. To get a clearer grasp on the situation and the upcoming investigation, Matt Cox spoke to Senior Analyst at NRG Expert, Edgar van der Meer.
