Share Radio Politics: Streep takes on Trump, Tube strikes, and an NHS crisis?
The ritz and glitz of the Golden Globes used to be an escape from the doom and gloom of US politics - no longer. At last night's ceremony, Meryl Streep took on Donald Trump as she received a lifetime achievement award, telling the President-elect that "disrespect invites disrespect". Trump replied in signature fashion, tweeting her speech to be "overrated". For this stories and all the rest of the day's politics, Share Radio's Simon Rose was joined in the studio by Kate Andrews and Nerissa Chesterfield from the Institute of Economic Affairs.
