There's not a lot of music on Share Radio, since we are a speech station sharing ideas about money. Each morning broadcasting starts with Psalm 150, sung by the York Minster Choir.

However there's a few hours in the middle of the night (generally between midnight and 6am) when you'll hear some of our favourite instrumental folk music. The other time you'll hear music is in Track Record at 12 noon on Saturdays, when you'll hear the choices of Sue Dougan's guest for the week: click here to see the tracks played.

However if you'd like to hear our great and growing repertoire of instrumental folk music during the day, please visit our online music channel, Share Music: you'll continue to hear Share Radio news bulletins on the top of the hour. There's also a great iPhone app 'Share Music UK' which tells you which track we're playing.

Take me to Share Music, please

We're very keen to receive your recommendations for instrumental folk music - no singing, please! Albums marked # have been provided courtesy of Arc Music.
