Share Radio’s flagship Breakfast Show is fast paced and nimble. Presented by Nigel Cassidy and Sarah Lowther, we cover the breaking news of the morning. At 6 am we review the morning papers, the FT, Wall Street Journal and the broadsheets, look at what’s happening in China and Japan as it affects the European markets, and look ahead at the corporate news and results to come. At 7 am we cover the release of company results and stock market announcements as they happen live with our studio guests. And around the London market opening at 8 am we gauge how shares will be affected by the corporate news in our ‘Famous Last Words’ slot. The show is produced by Michael Kosmides.

We have regular AIM market CEO’s live around results, superb market analysis from Chris Bailey at Financial Orbit, Louise Cooper from Coopercity and Russ Mould from AJ Bell. ‘Famous Last Words’ include the excellent David Buick from Panmure Gordon, Rodney Hobson, financial author and Rachel Winter from Killik & Co. Political regulars include Dan Hodges from the Daily Telegraph, Nick Markoutsis from Macropolis.gr in Athens and Ryan Heath from Politico in Brussels.

We have news/markets/sport and weather bulletins which run for five minutes at the top of the hour and for two minutes on the half hour. London travel news will broadcast at quarter past and quarter to the hour during the show.

5:57: every day our daily coverage begins with Psalm 150 from York Minster Choir.

Then from 6am our mission is to explain why global events impact on UK business and investments. For example, the FTSE 100 is made up of businesses, which trade internationally, and therefore even a simple investment like a FTSE Tracker Fund will reflect earnings made around the world.

News/markets/sport/weather bulletins will run at the top of the hour and half hour. London travel news will broadcast at quarter past and quarter to the hour during morning and evening rush hour.

Every quarter hour we have the “Today's-Need-To-Know “, a short reminder of the main stories, market movers and press headlines. We will look back at New York and the Asia/Pacific markets, including a Press review from the newspapers in these areas, and foreign exchange developments, interviewing experts. At 6.45 am we review the UK papers with a regular panel of trusted journalists and market analysts in the studio.

7 am – 8 am: This is the news-driven hour. The “Market Roll”looks at the news and company results as they are released, with instant comment and analysis on developments. Each morning we will bring you clips and live audio feeds as companies announce results. We will have a European Press review and check the European markets as they open. Just before 8 am, our commentators and guests will boldly offer their thoughts on what interesting moves we can expect to see when the markets open at 8 am.

8 am – 9am:  First news from the London Stock Exchange. Interviews with company executives, market analysts or pundits on the market moves. We also include a ‘Westminster’slot where we discuss the current political situation as it impacts on us all. In the last quarter we wrap the main events of the morning to summarise the bigger picture.
