Areas of interest and expertise include buying at auction, managing the development process, encouraging positive landlord tenant relations, fundraising and business strategy. Richard is also a London Representative for the National Landlords Association, sets up and speaks at landlord meetings and works on policy, press and media campaigns. Recent television appearances include BBC, Sky & Channel 4 News and he has commented on housing issues on BBC Radio London, LBC Radio and Radio 4, plus appearances in a range of national newspapers and property websites. Richard has featured in sixteen episodes of Househunters International which airs prime time in the USA, Canada and on Sky Living in the UK.     Peter is Director of the Centre for Employment Research at the University of Westminster. Most of his time is spent leading studies that use Big Data to answer questions for policymakers and business. Over the last 15 years he has been commissioned by DfE, MoJ, MoD, HMRC, BEIS, DIT and DWP to lead studies that tackle issues of education and social mobility, equality and diversity, entrepreneurship, employment relations and housing. Peter’s academic and policy work covers around 100 published outputs; he has provided expert advice to a range of bodies including DfE, the Cabinet Office, National Audit Office and Ernst and Young; and is currently Principle Investigator for the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) funded study, Early Identification of Young People at Risk of Poor Educational and Labour Market Outcomes.

    Franz is a Professor of Economics at Westminster Business School, University of Westminster. His favourite research interests are in the fields of labour and education economics, and much of his research focuses on topics such as the returns to learning and social mobility. Franz has published in leading academic journals and contributed to numerous policy reports. He has worked with a variety of government departments including DfE, HMRC, HMT, BEIS, and the MOD. His research has been covered by various media outlets such as BBC news, BBC Radio 4, The Economist, The Guardian, The Times and Huffington Post. Franz is the current Director of Research for the Westminster Business School. In this capacity Franz is responsible for the management of Westminster Business School's research portfolio and oversees the research activities of 200 members of staff.

    Matt is a Reader in Public Policy at the University of Bath’s Institute for Policy Research. He gained his PhD in Economics from the University of Warwick in 2009 and held research fellowships at the University of Bristol and University College Dublin before joining Bath as a Research Fellow in 2012. Matt’s research focuses on issues relating to the labour market and the economics of education, with particular interest in social mobility, and the impact of education on subsequent outcomes in life. His research has been published in major academic journals and he has co-authored policy reports for the Department for Education and the Low Pay Commission, as well as acting as an advisor to the DfE, HMT, the Welsh Assembly Government and the Cabinet Office. Matt’s work has been covered by all of the major UK newspapers and news websites, and he has previously made appearances on Channel 4 News, ITV News, BBC Radio 4, and BBC Radio 5Live. In Bath, Matt leads the IPR’s research programme on widening participation in higher education as well as contributing to research in other policy areas.
