Share Radio’s main regulator is OFCOM, which regulates all broadcasting in the United Kingdom and issues licences to operate.
Although the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) does not cover media organisations such as Share Radio, we aim to follow the spirit of best financial practice in our programmes: and particularly so due to our focus on money and investments. However financial service organisations who advertise on Share Radio are of course required to follow the financial promotion rules.
Other regulatory bodies which cover our activities include the Information Commissioner, the Performing Rights Society and PPL.
