Share Sounds presented by Juliette Foster related to Investing in Funds - Small Caps

It's time for our weekly catch up with the small cap sector. This week, Share Radio's Juliette Foster was joined in the studio by Matthew Tonge and Victoria Stevens from Lion Trust. They are two members of a four person team which looks after the Lion Trust UK Smaller Companies Fund and Liontrust UK Micro Cap fund.

Share Radio's Steve Clarke is joined in the studio by Lord Lee, author of the book "How to Make a Million Slowly: My Guiding Principles from a Lifetime of Successful Investing" and writer of a weekly FT column, and David Rugg, Chief Executive at Christie and Co., which is one of the companies that John has invested in. Market and economics indicators have been closely watched since the historic EU referendum vote on the 23rd of June. Perhaps most closely watched of all has been the performance of small cap companies as they adjust to a new reality. Joining Juliette Foster on the line for more on this was David Thornton, Editor of Growth Company Investor, a monthly publication which focuses on stocks all AIM stocks plus the FTSE small cap.

John Lee - or Lord Lee of Trafford to quote his official title - has been playing the financial markets since he was a teenager. It's fair to say that since those early days he has gone on to build a sizeable investment portfolio. Well every week Lord Lee will be joining us at Share Radio to talk strategy and to share his stock choices. Today he joins Juliette Foster to look at the international publishing group Quarto which is listed on the London Stock Exchange. Founded in 1976, Quarto's subject range includes gardening, lifestyle and childrens' books. Marcus Leaver is the Chief Executive Officer, a position he's held since 2012, and he also joins Juliette in the studio.
