Airbnb, which enables people to list or rent short-term lodging in residential properties, is under fire from regulators in several cities, including New York, San Francisco and Barcelona. The platform, which is valued at £25bn by investors, has been hit by criticism that it’s to blame for rising property prices in major cities.
