New research shows that, while mums and female carers tend to be the parent most likely to help their children with their maths homework, two thirds of them lack confidence in the subject. As a result, maths tuition website Numerise has launched The Confidence Lab, to assist parents in helping their children build the skills – and numeracy confidence – they need to reach their potential at Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
