The number of women working into their 70s in the UK has doubled in the last four years, according research from investment company, Hargreaves Lansdown. Worries over pension income, and a desire to stay active, were driving up working ages. Select Committee research has found the state pension age might have to rise to 70 if the current pension triple lock is to be maintained.
