Today is "Safer Internet Day", where hundreds of organisations come together to help promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology. It's been estimated the time spent online has nearly doubled in the last decade - on average 20 hours a week. Google is one of the companies involved in "Safer Internet Day". Georgie was joined by Elijah Lawal from Google.

We're talking about staying safe online but what about if you run a business. Cyber-attacks are a huge threat. In fact according to insurance company Hiscox, over half of UK firms have been victims in the past year. Despite this, it seems we are still too complacent in taking extra precautions - even after an attack. To tell us a bit more I'm joined now by Matt Webb, Head of Cyber at Hiscox.

According to research from credit report agency Equifax, a lack of parental controls and supervision could leave many kids at risk of giving out personal details and falling victim to scams. Tomorrow is Safer Internet Day which encourages greater awareness of some of the risks of online fraud and how to stay protected. To find out more Share Radio's Tom Hill spoke to Lisa Hardstaff from Equifax and Russell Winnard from Young Enterprise who started by explaining some of the recent findings.

Identity fraud, investment fraud and lottery fraud are the most harmful types of scams in the UK. This is according to analysis carried out by Professor Mark Button, from the Centre for Counter Fraud Studies at the university of Portsmouth. They come top in a league table of fifteen different types of scams identified by Professor Button. Share Radio's Sara Macham spoke to Professor Button in more detail about the study.
