Former racing driver Amanda Stretton explains why men pay more for car insurance
New research has shown that men are now paying - on average - one hundred pounds MORE than women for their car insurance. That's according to a survey by confused.com, which is compiled and published every quarter and gives a snapshot of what the insurance industry is doing. The index has also shown that premiums across the board have increased as insurance companies become more and more expert at gathering data about our driving habits. Earlier on, Share Radio reporter spoke to Amanda Stretton, former racing driver and now motoring editor about the survey's results in more detail.
