It appears the gender pay gap isn't the only problem being faced by women in Britain's workforce. 4 in 5 reported witnessing gender discrimination or bias in the past 12 months. This included bias in the recruitment process, women being unable to get their voices heard at meetings and inappropriate comments often passed off as banter. To find out more about the situation our reporter Tom Hill spoke to Head of Brand Strategy and Stakeholder Relations at the CMI, Craig Hurring.

A survey by the British Chambers of Commerce of 1500 business people has highlighted an interesting reaction to the collapse in the value of the pound since last June's referendum. Over a third of UK firms are planning to invest more in selling abroad over the next five years, despite uncertainties over Brexit.
