2016 saw record sales figures for the entertainment industry. Music, gaming and video sales reached £6.3bn in the last year driven largely by a growing demand for digital services. Despite the rise of streaming services such as Spotify some of the old formats are still popular with vinyl and handheld games all experiencing growth. To talk through the figures in more depth our reporter Tom Hill spoke to CEO of ERA Kim Bayley.

Analysis has shown that you could be spending more on petrol if you drive badly. A report from Direct Line Drive Plus has revealed that the average bad driver spends an extra 560 pounds per year on fuel compared to good drivers. New technology which you can fit to your car yourself means that you can test your driving habits, potentially saving you hundreds of pounds a year. Share Radio reporter Sara Macham spoke to Steve Fowler, editor in chief at Auto Express and Carbuyer, about the difference this technology can make when it comes to filling up.

This is Share Radio news hour with Ed Bowsher. While the pound continues to fall, the FTSE is up 30 points at 7267. Ed will be speaking with Chris Beauchamp from IG Index about how the markets are moving this afternoon. He'll also be asking him about Theresa May's latest comments saying a hard Brexit is not inevitable. The FTSE may have been having a good day, but shares in Just Eat are on the way down after their full year update underwhelmed investors. On the other hand, shares in Morrisons have beaten forecasts with strong Christmas figures. Ed will be getting insight on both of those stories along with he rest of the company news from the FT's assistant companies editor, Daniel Thomas. In the second half of the hour, Ed will be finding out about why Jeremy Corbyn has backed a cap on "high earners" from John Ashmore, Chief reporter for Politics Home. Plus he'll be speaking to Paul Martin, head of retail at KPMG, about their latest figures, which show a raise in total retail sales in December All that and more on today's edition of the Share radio news hour.

The ritz and glitz of the Golden Globes used to be an escape from the doom and gloom of US politics - no longer. At last night's ceremony, Meryl Streep took on Donald Trump as she received a lifetime achievement award, telling the President-elect that "disrespect invites disrespect". Trump replied in signature fashion, tweeting her speech to be "overrated".
