They’re called Kuflink – and they've already built a solid businesses providing bridging finance on property deals. Now they’re just about to officially launch into peer-to-peer lending as well - doing deals they say in days rather than the weeks or months it can take with traditional banking. Ultimately their sights are set on becoming a challenger bank. So how do they do it? Linda Lewis has been talking to them at their ultra modern offices, transformed from an old video rental showroom in the heart of Gravesend.

A study by consultancy Deloitte into the reports of FTSE 100 companies showed only 5 percent of these major businesses have a board member with specialist tech knowledge.
