The BBC iPlayer will be reinvented in a bid to be the top online TV service in the UK by 2020. That's according to the director general Tony Hall. Lord Hall told staff he wanted the BBC to "reinvent public broadcasting for a new generation". Tech journalist Chris Green spoke to Share radio's James Brydges about why it was a priority for the broadcaster.

A letter from asset managers BlackRock to all FTSE 350 chairmen has outlined exactly how they want companies to tackle the thorny issue of executive pay. Amra Balic of BlackRock, urged chairmen to make sure top directors' pay only increases in line with the rest of the workforce, while emphasising that pay rises should be linked to performance. David Pitt-Watson is Executive Fellow of Finance at the London Business School, with a focus on responsible investment and business practice. He joined Share Radio's Ed Bowsher to discuss the issue.
